Description

Financial Accounting & Reporting

  • Assist with month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring accurate and timely financial statements
  • Maintain and reconcile the general ledger, including accruals, adjustments, and supporting schedules
  • Ensure compliance with IFRS, GAAP, and company accounting policies
  • Manage fixed assets, depreciation schedules, and capital project tracking
  • Support budgeting and forecasting through variance analysis and financial modeling
  • Drive process improvements and implement best practices in accounting procedures

AP, AR & Cash Management

  • Support treasury activities including banking transactions
  • Monitor cash flow and forecast future needs

Operational & Cross-Functional Support

  • Collaborate with Operations, Engineering, Purchasing, and supply chain teams to support production and cost optimization initiatives
  • Provide financial modeling and analysis to support operational decisions
  • Assist with ERP enhancements, accounting system improvements, and data integrity initiatives
  • Prepare ad-hoc analyses for leaders across Finance and Operations teams, among others

Requirements

  • Typically requires a bachelor's degree in accounting w/ 5–8+ years of progressive accounting experience, including manufacturing cost accounting.
  • Strong knowledge of IFRS and GAAP in a production environment.
  • Experience with Epicor is preferred but not required.
  • Proficiency in Excel is required.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to collaborate cross-functionally and communicate complex financial topics clearly.
