Description
In consultation with the Faculty Director and the Senior Student Director, the Associate Student Director will:
- Develop programming for two events per academic year (one in the Fall, one in the Spring).
- Organize the events, including: booking event venues, ordering food, advertising to the community, and communicating with and booking event participants.
- Represent the Center at Center Events and engage in community outreach to promote the Center.
- Attend regular Center meetings and maintain consistent communication with the Center Faculty Director.

- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Reliable and patient with visitors
- Office experience a plus
- Ability to work independently
- Strong organizational skills
Note: The Senior and Associate Student Directors will have staggered two-year terms, with the incoming student serving as the Associate Student Director and the outgoing student serving as the Senior Student Director. Reappointment for the second year is contingent upon satisfactory job performance in the first year. Positions begin at the start of Fall term and extend to the end of the Spring term. To maintain continuity in Center leadership, priority will be given to applicants with the ability to serve two terms (pending reappointment) at the time of application.
