Title: Manufacturing Engineer-Marshall
Job Summary: The Manufacturing Engineer monitors and coordinates all aspects of the manufacturing engineering department required to meet the quality and scheduled delivery of product, while constantly exploring and engaging in continuous improvement activities.
Supervisory Responsibilities: None
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Develops Engineering drawings of tooling, products, and machine parts.
- Prepare costing information and analyze product performance.
- Understanding and execution of ERP system to build routing, bill of materials, certifications required for new product production.
- Prepares engineering drawings process flows and work instructions of new products for the manufacturing group.
- Performs all necessary lab analytical work to satisfy all of the customer requirements.
- Assists in the production and tooling operation with problem resolutions and guidance.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Be knowledgeable with all Marshall procedures and work instructions pertaining to any personal job responsibilities to achieve and maintain maximum quality performance.
- Have knowledge to make and prepare samples, documentation, and test results for new and existing products.
- Must possess sufficient communicative and reporting skills, verbal and written, to interact with all local and corporate Deringer-Ney, Inc. manufacturing employees and management, regulatory entities as well as any external customers or contacts to accomplish any/all job-related duties and/or responsibilities.
- Understand and be able uniformly apply fundamentals of drafting, GD&T in Auto CAD Mechanical, and Inventor software to create production drawings, process drawings, machine components drawing, sketches etc.
Education and Experience:
- H.S. Diploma or Equivalent
- AS + experience or BS in Engineering
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times.
- Must be able to access and navigate each department at the organization’s facilities.
