St Mary and St Michael Catholic Primary School is looking for a dedicated Learning Support Assistant to join our warm, supportive, and highly inclusive team for 13.75 hours per week - to be worked over 3 days.

The Role
This is a multi-faceted role designed for someone who enjoys variety in their day and wants to be a consistent, friendly face for our pupils from the moment they arrive.
Breakfast Club (7:45am – 9:00am): Start the day by providing a welcoming and safe environment for our Breakfast Club children.
Learning Support (8:45am – 12:00pm): Work in the classroom under the direction of the Class Teacher and ALNCo to support literacy, numeracy, and overall development.
Midday Duty (12:00pm – 1:00pm): Supervise and engage with children during their lunchtime break.
The successful candidate will be someone who truly enjoys working with children and thrives in a team-based setting. We are looking for:
Motivation: A proactive individual who is keen to support children’s learning and wellbeing.
Experience: Previous classroom experience or experience working with young people is highly desirable.

Skills: Patience, understanding, and a rock-solid commitment to inclusion and safeguarding.
