Requirements
What You’ll Do
As a Guest Readiness Coordinator / Housekeeping Inspector, you will play a vital role in ensuring every property meets Great Ocean Condos’ high standards of quality, cleanliness, and guest experience. Your responsibilities include:
- Traveling between assigned properties within your territory.
- Inspecting vacation rentals for cleanliness, maintenance issues, and overall guest readiness.
- Performing light, minor repairs such as changing bulbs, tightening fixtures, addressing small leaks, and basic troubleshooting.
- Reporting larger maintenance concerns and coordinating with the proper teams for timely resolution.
- Verifying inventory levels and ensuring all appliances are working correctly before each arrival.
- Assisting occasionally with preparation of amenity bags and linen bags used during weekly cleaning services.
- Staging and organizing properties to ensure a warm, welcoming, guest-ready presentation.
- Delivering requested items to guests to enhance comfort and satisfaction.
- Maintaining accurate records of inspections, supply needs, and maintenance requests.
- Collaborating closely with housekeeping and maintenance teams to support smooth, efficient turnovers.
What We’re Looking For
We are searching for someone reliable, proactive, and detail-oriented—someone who naturally notices what others might miss. The ideal candidate has:
- Previous experience in hospitality, property management, or similar roles (preferred).
- Basic maintenance knowledge and confidence performing minor repairs.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to handle challenges calmly and professionally.
- Excellent organization and the ability to work independently.
- A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- A mobile device with a data plan that allows access to the internet while in the field.
- Physical ability to walk, stand, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Availability to work weekends and flexible hours based on business needs.

Schedule & Work Environment
- Typical Hours: 9:30 AM – 5:30 PM, with flexibility depending on property readiness and guest needs.
- Five-day workweek, including weekends.
