    Experience working collaboratively with educational team members, families, and community partners to create safe, healthy, and supportive learning environments that strengthen connections between home, school, and community. 
    Skilled in evaluating students to determine current functioning, strengths, and areas of need in order to inform the implementation of appropriate supports and interventions that promote student success. 
    Experience supporting the development, implementation, and monitoring of multi-tiered systems of support (MTSS) to address academic, social, emotional, and behavioral needs while promoting the development of essential skills for all students. 
    Commitment to fostering supportive relationships and equitable access to educational opportunities for all learners.

    Position Summary/Responsibilities: 
    The School Psychologist works collaboratively with staff, families, and community partners to support the academic, social, emotional, and behavioral success of all students. In alignment with the Greece Central School District's mission to build a culture of high standards, engagement, and supportive relationships through equitable access to resources, opportunities, and partnerships, the School Psychologist contributes to data-informed decision making and the implementation of evidence-based practices to support student growth.
    Key Responsibilities:
    Participate as a member of the building's multi-disciplinary problem-solving team(s) to address academic, social, emotional, and behavioral needs of individual students. 
    Gather relevant data through record review, interviews, observations, and assessments to identify student functioning, strengths, areas of need, and potential barriers to learning. 
    Identify and recommend evidence-based interventions to address primary skill deficit(s) and support student progress. 
    Review and interpret progress-monitoring data to guide instructional and intervention decisions. 
    Provide individual and/or group counseling services using evidence-based strategies to support skill development and student success within the educational setting. 
    Collaborate with community-based service providers to ensure alignment of goals, supports, and interventions for students and families. 
    Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations to gather information about student functioning, strengths, and needs to inform appropriate interventions and supports. 
    Utilize current, valid, and reliable assessment tools and practices to assess cognitive abilities, academic skills, social-emotional functioning, and adaptive behavior. 
    Conduct Functional Behavioral Assessments (FBAs) in collaboration with the educational team to inform the development and implementation of Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs). 
    Participate as a member of the Committee on Special Education (CSE). 
    Serve as a member of the building's crisis response team to support student and staff safety and well-being.
