Job Title:  Home Instructor
Reports To:  Director of Student Services
Employment Status: Supplemental - $25.00 Hourly Rate
 

Position Summary:
The Home Instructor will provide individual and small group instructional support to students who are unable to attend school due to medical, personal, or other approved circumstances. The academic instruction provided will be aligned with the district's curriculum, ensuring continuity of learning and academic success for each assigned student.

Responsibilities:

• Provide one-on-one or small group instruction to assigned students in accordance with their grade level and course requirements.
• Develop and implement lesson plans aligned with district curriculum and student learning goals.
• Maintain accurate records of instructional hours, student progress, and attendance.
• Communicate regularly with classroom teachers, school counselors, and administrators regarding student performance and needs.
• Adapt instruction to meet the individual learning needs of students.
• Ensure a safe and supportive learning environment during instruction.

Qualifications:

• Valid Ohio Teaching License required.
• Experience working with students across various grade levels preferred.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and maintain confidentiality.

Schedule & Compensation:

• Instruction is flexible and typically scheduled outside of the regular school day, depending on student needs and availability.
