The team you will be a part of
We are currently seeking a New Product Readiness (NPR) Analyst for the Refrigeration Product Management team in GSS. Product Management ensures that all new products and cost and quality projects are launched at cost, at quality, and on time. The NPR Analysts ensures that suppliers are qualified, and PPAP (Production Part Approval Process) approved per the overall project schedule..This position is located at Monterrey, NL.
This role in summary
- Daily project management of established launch plan for assigned commodities/components/projects.
- Participate in project and leadership meetings.
- Resolve launch readiness situations and prepare/ensure cost, schedule, and quality objectives are achieved.
- Implement cost and quality changes to existing models to achieve performance and cost objectives.
- Balance activities for multiple projects to ensure all priorities and key objectives are met.
- Validate and issue capital and expense expenditures (tooling and equipment).
- Travel to suppliers for face to face reviews and readiness discussion
- Interact and visit the manufacturing plants as needed to work with the project team.
- Develop and lead continuous improvement activities for key product management processes/systems.
Your responsibilities will include
- Manage launch, cost, and quality projects throughout product lifecycles to achieve unit cost targets, quality targets, and maintain program timing for assigned commodities.
- Develop a detailed action plan for each supplier to meet project deliverables.
- Coordinate internal deliverables to suppliers – demand planning, designs, quality, cost targets.
- Track and evaluate supplier activities against their launch plan.
- Monitor supplier quality deliverables.
- Validate, kick-off, and track supplier capital & tooling.
- Lead & coordinate day-to-day activities during the new model transition process for the supplier and cross-functional internal team – Engineering, Quality, and Manufacturing.
- Monitor and track key performance indicators for assigned commodities.
Minimum requirements
- 2+ years’ experience in Procurement, Supply Chain, Business, Engineering.
- Bachelor’s degree
Preferred skills and experiences
- Demonstrated use of project management skills.
- Demonstrated ability to negotiate and use conflict resolution skills.
- Ability to build strong relationships with internal process partners and suppliers.
- Ability to manage and execute multiple key activities and competing priorities.
- Ability to drive results through others.
