Job Description

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Associates Degree in Radiology Technology and current ARRT certification.
  • Current state and ARRT certification with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.
  • One – two years’ experience as a Radiology Technologist in a hospital or clinic environment.
  • Knowledge of radiology exam policies and procedures.
  • Knowledge of operating a PC and applicable computer software.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Performs radiology procedures as ordered by physicians and providers.
  • Travels to other clinics as directed by Chief Technologist and/or Radiology Director.
  • Complies with all HIPAA and OSHA requirements.
  • Establishes and maintains effective communication with physicians, employees, and other departments.
  • Responds to patient questions as required to resolve issues and maintain high patient satisfaction levels.
  • Maintains patient confidentiality.

The Radiology Technologist Pool is responsible for performing radiology procedures and operating X-ray equipment.
