Salary/Hourly Rate:
$25 - $26 Per Hour




Transportation Coordinator

Full-Time: 5 days per week. Monday-Friday 7:30am-4:00pm primarily

*Some weekends may be required

GENERAL SUMMARY:

The Transportation Coordinator is responsible for organizing the timely and safe transporting of residents to various individual and group activities.

PRINCIPLE DUTIES:

� Accepts all calls from residents for transportation requests, displaying good judgment and excellent telephone etiquette.

� Arranges resident transportation in an accurate, timely, and concise manner, so as to fulfill as many resident requests as possible.

� Schedules daily work assignments for drivers, assists with the supervision of drivers.

� Maintains accurate records, reports, and documentation for vehicles. Maintains logs for CHP inspection.

� Picks up and delivers residents to all activities in a prompt and courteous manner.

� Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

QUALIFICATIONS:

� At least one year professional driving experience.

� Must possess a valid Driver�s License that includes a Passenger Endorsement. Must have a good driving record.

� Strong written and verbal communication skills

� Excellent customer service skills

� General computer knowledge, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook

� Must be able to interpret and follow map directions.

� High school education/GED. Ability to understand and follow instructions in English, communicate effectively, and perform simple arithmetic.
