Job Description

SUMMARY

The Designer will play a key role in driving the creative vision and product development for women’s fashion legwear across K. Bell and HotSox. Partnering closely with the Design Director and Brand Leadership, this role translates brand strategy into compelling, trend-right product—from initial concept through final sample approval.

This position requires a strong eye for color, pattern, and knit construction, along with a deep understanding of the contemporary market and consumer. The Designer will balance creativity with execution, delivering innovative, commercially viable product in a fast-paced environment.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Own the design and development process from concept through final approval across assigned categories
  • Research and interpret seasonal trends in fashion, textiles, color, and pop culture to inform original, brand-right designs
  • Develop compelling concepts for knit legwear and select cut-and-sew sleep/lounge product
  • Translate seasonal direction and line plans into cohesive, market-relevant assortments
  • Create and maintain CADs, tech packs, PLM assets, and presentation materials
  • Partner cross-functionally with Brand, Sales, Sourcing, and Product Development teams to ensure alignment on vision, cost, and execution
  • Communicate directly with overseas factories on design intent, construction, and sample development
  • Review prototypes and samples, providing clear feedback to achieve design and quality standards
  • Stay aligned with merchandising calendars and key milestones to ensure timely delivery
  • Support Design Director and team on broader creative initiatives as needed
