Overview:

Dental Receptionist / Dental Assistant Cross Trained

Fayette Endodontics

 

Fayette Endodontics is a fast-paced specialty practice equipped with advanced dental technology and committed to providing compassionate patient care. We are seeking a friendly and organized Dental Receptionist to join our dedicated team. In this dual role, you will help support both front and back office, creating an excellent patient experience while keeping the practice running smoothly. This position will primarily focus on front desk responsibilities, with cross training to serve as a fill in Dental Assistant as needed. 

 

Schedule: Full Time, Monday - Thursday with some required Fridays



Responsibilities:
  • Greet patients warmly and ensure a welcoming, professional environment
  • Schedule and confirm appointments, manage provider calendars
  • Answer phone calls, respond to inquiries, and manage patient communication
  • Verify insurance coverage and obtain necessary pre-authorizations
  • Process payments, handle billing, and maintain accurate financial records
  • Maintain patient records and ensure accurate data entry
  • Coordinate patient flow and assist with administrative support as needed
  • Ensure compliance with patient confidentiality and HIPAA regulations
  • Dental Assistant responsibilities as needed
  • Please note that additional responsibilities may be assigned


Qualifications:

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Dental Front Office or Dental Assisting experience

Preferred Skills

  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Reliable, organized, and detail-oriented
  • Experience with dental practice management software
  • Proficiency with computers, including Microsoft Office applications
  • Knowledge of dental insurance and billing procedures
