Schenck USA Corp. is seeking a Temporary Account Receivables Clerk to support our accounting team for a 3-month assignment. This role is ideal for candidates looking to gain hands-on accounting experience in accounts receivable and month-end close.
Job Duties
- Perform accounts receivable processing and customer follow-ups
- Post customer payments and maintain AR aging reports
- Utilize and maintain customer portals
- Follow up on overdue balances
- Assist with data entry of monthly journal entries
- Support monthly close and year-end audit processes
- Complete special projects as assigned
Job Details
- Job Type: Temporary (3 months)
- Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 8:30 AM–5:00 PM
- Work Location: In-person
- Benefits: Paid sick time per local statutory requirements
Requirements
- Must be a US Person
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- 1-3 years of experience in accounts receivables or general accounting; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Good math and communication skills are required.
- Must be able to carry out simple instructions.
- Must have attention to detail.
- Must have computer skills – proficient in MS office, specifically Word & Excel.
