Product Development Manager (Food Manufacturing / Innovation Leadership)

 $85,000 – $95,000+ (Negotiable for top talent)
 Mifflintown, PA Area (Local candidates preferred)
 Full-Time | Hybrid flexibility available

We’re hiring a Product Development Manager who doesn’t just talk about ideas—you bring products to life, scale them, and get them into production.

If you’ve successfully taken food products from concept → development → commercialization, and you’re ready to lead at a higher level, this is your opportunity to make a real impact.


What You’ll Be Doing

  • Own and lead end-to-end product development + commercialization
  • Drive new product innovation AND improvement of existing products
  • Partner with leadership to shape product strategy and execution
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (operations, QA, marketing, co-manufacturers)
  • Conduct and support consumer research + product testing
  • Troubleshoot, optimize, and refine processes for scalability and efficiency


Requirements

What We’re Looking For

  • 7+ years of product development experience in food manufacturing
  • Proven track record of launching and commercializing products
  • Strong background in process development, testing, and optimization
  • Experience working with meat products (kosher experience is a PLUS)
  • Ability to lead projects at a commercial/production scale
  • Comfortable managing multiple projects at once without missing deadlines

Must-Have Skills

  • Strong analytical + problem-solving mindset
  • Excellent project management and organization
  • Ability to work independently AND lead cross-functional teams
  • Deep understanding of food safety, QA, and regulatory standards

Education

  • BS/BA in Food Science, Food Technology, Chemistry, or related field
