| Position Summary | The Department of Pediatrics at the
University of New Mexico Health Sciences Center is seeking an experienced
clinician in Endocrinology. This position is Open rank and Open Track. Successful candidates should have experience
with inpatient and outpatient care of children and adolescents with a broad
spectrum of endocrine disorders and with patient education. This faculty position includes opportunities
for research and teaching at a dynamic, well-supported academic medical center. Applicants with a particular interest in
diabetes or obesity in an ethnically diverse population of the Southwest are
urged to apply. Salary and track will be
commensurate with training and experience.
ABQ as a City in State of
New Mexico: New Mexico is a geographically
large state, with both urban and rural populations totaling 2.1 million. Albuquerque is a four-season city one mile in
elevation with year-round sun and moderate climate. Centrally located, it offers access to a
variety of unique outdoor, culinary, and cultural opportunities. Santa Fe, home to world-renowned art, food and

| Qualifications | Minimum Qualifications:
- Must be authorized to work in the
U.S. - Able to obtain state licensure(s)
in the state of New Mexico. - BC/BE in Pediatric Endocrinology.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experienced in both inpatient and
outpatient care of a broad spectrum of childhood endocrine disorders. - Experienced in professional and
patient education, teaching, and research. - A demonstrated commitment to
diversity, equity, inclusion, and student success, as well as working with
broadly diverse communities.
