Reporting to the Controller, the Accounting Manager is responsible for managing the company�s day-to-day accounting operations, monthly close process and annual audit as well as supervising a small accounting team. The role is a fully remote position.

The Opportunity:

• Manage the month-end and year-end closing processes, including reconciliations and journal entries.
• Assist in the preparation of monthly and quarterly financial reports for management, stakeholders, and regulatory agencies.
• Maintain and enhance accounting policies, procedures, and documentation.
• Work closely with external auditors, ensuring timely and accurate submission of required documents.
• Work closely with external tax accountants, ensuring compliance with all federal, state, and local tax regulations.
• Review accounting procedures to recommend and implement process improvements.

What you bring:

• Bachelor�s degree in accounting or related field; Master�s preferred.
• 5-7 years of accounting experience, including 2+ years in public accounting.
• Active CPA license.
• Experience in project management and new process implementation.
