About the Role



This position will provide Tier 1 desktop and helpdesk support, assist with day-to-day IT operations, and help ensure our employees have the tools and technology they need to succeed by troubleshooting problem areas (in person or virtually) in a timely and accurate fashion, providing end-user assistance as needed, and completing other duties as assigned. 



What You’ll Do




  • Deploy, configure, upgrade, and maintain desktop and laptop computers

  • Provide Tier 1 help desk support and respond to IT support requests in a timely manner

  • Troubleshoot hardware, operating systems, and basic application issues

  • Set up and support IT needs for new hires and terminations, including user account creation and deactivation and phone and workstation configuration

  • Maintain and support hardware such as printers and RF scanning equipment

  • Manage hardware assets, including inventory tracking and documentation

  • Monitor and order printer consumables and other IT supplies

  • Assist with basic network connectivity and cabling as needed

  • Document procedures, configurations, and support activities

  • Follow IT security policies and procedures and help educate users on security awareness and acceptable use practices



Work Environment & Physical Requirements



The schedule for this position is Monday through Friday, 6:30am – 3:00pm with occasional after hours or on-call support as needed



This position operates primarily in an office environment with occasional exposure to a refrigerated warehouse setting (34 degrees).
