Job Purpose:
Create a positive learning environment where the children learn sportsmanship, fundamental skills, teamwork, and responsibility.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
- To create and implement a high-quality coaching program, to maximize participation and performance of competitive teams;
- To undertake the necessary planning for each activity session to ensure the program demonstrates progression throughout;
- To ensure all equipment associated with the coaching program is correctly set up, maintained, stored and returned on completion of games and practices;
- To implement appropriate Health and Safety policies and procedures in line with the Menifee County School District policy and procedures;
- To provide appropriate mentoring, support and guidance to other coaches, players and student volunteers;
- To take responsibility for their own continuous professional development and attend relevant training courses to improve their coaching delivery (if offered).
