Description
The Fulfillment Strategy & Operations Intern will work closely with operations and supply chain leadership to analyze, optimize, and improve fulfillment processes. This role is designed for individuals interested in pursuing careers in operations management, supply chain, or industrial strategy.
Rather than focusing on manual warehouse tasks, this internship emphasizes data analysis, process improvement, and strategic planning within a fast-paced industrial environment.
Requirements
Job Duties
1. Analyze fulfillment and warehouse performance data (order accuracy, throughput, lead times)
2. Assist in building dashboards and reports to support operational decision-making
3. Map and evaluate current fulfillment workflows to identify inefficiencies
4. Support inventory optimization efforts, including slotting and stock positioning analysis
5. Evaluate shipping and logistics performance, including cost and carrier efficiency
6. Collaborate cross-functionally with operations, procurement, sales, and finance teams
7. Participate in leadership meetings and operational reviews.
8. Other duties as assigned
Education
Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, Business Analytics, or a related field
Experience & Skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, basic formulas; advanced skills a plus)
Interest in operations, logistics, or manufacturing environments
Strong communication and presentation skills
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
