Description

We are currently seeking a part-time (20 hours per week) Licensed Practical Nurse for our day program located in Beverly, MA. The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) will assist the Health Services Coordinator in providing healthcare services that assist individuals in attaining and maintaining an optimum level of wellness across their lifespan.



SHIFTS



Monday – Friday, 20 hours per week



ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES




  • Provide health care services that assist individuals in attaining and maintaining an optimum level of wellness across their lifespan in conjunction with the Health Services Coordinator, RN.

  • Provide Medication Administration Management, as needed.

  • Provide Personal Care for participants following clinical team and doctor recommendations/protocols including required nursing procedures (i.e. catheterization.)

  • Provide backup support for Life Choices Programs located in Beverly and Reading as needed.

  • Assist in the development and facilitation of training for staff and individuals receiving services.

  • Participate and assist with intake process and orientation of new individuals to Life Choices health care services.

Qualifications



  • Must hold current Massachusetts LPN license.

  • Valid Driver license, acceptable driver record and reliable transportation.

  • Excellent verbal and writing skills. Ability to communicate effectively with diverse population.

  • Flexibility, poise, tact and the ability to develop rapport with individuals of various backgrounds and positions.

  • Acceptable CORI report and clear fingerprint results required.
