Springbrook Behavioral Health is seeking a Corporate Healthcare Learning and Development (L&D) Trainer who will design and deliver training programs to improve employee performance, ensuring compliance with medical regulations (HIPAA, OSHA) and improving patient care.
They will assess skill gaps, onboard new hires, and use various methods, including virtual and instructor-led training, to educate clinical and non-clinical staff.
Key Responsibilities
- Onboarding & Orientation: Develop and deliver training for new employees, ensuring understanding of organizational culture and job duties.
- Regulatory Compliance: Train staff on critical healthcare regulations, including HIPAA, OSHA, and infection control protocols.
- Needs Assessment: Partner with leadership to identify performance gaps and develop training initiatives.
- Content Development: Design learning materials, including e-learning modules, workshops, and manuals.
- LMS Administration: Manage the Learning Management System (LMS) to track attendance, completion, and effectiveness.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Experience: Previous experience in a healthcare setting is preferred, specializing clinical training roles.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Healthcare Administration, Nursing, Education, or a related field.
- Clinical Knowledge: Knowledge of urgent care workflows, patient safety standards, and evidence-based medicine.
- Instructional Techniques: Expertise in adult learning principles, facilitation, and virtual training tools.
- Communication: Strong presentation and interpersonal skills for coaching and training diverse staff.
