Yard Switcher

Location: 4900 Clay Ave Wyoming, MI

 

Are you trying to break into the transportation industry? Picture yourself as a yard switch with Gordon Food Service! You will be a key part of our operations team as you set up, prepare, move, and manage inbound and outbound trailers to support the unloading and loading of products at the distribution center. You’ll be using a yard truck to fuel and stage empty trailers and will need a CDL A license in order to do so. Newly licensed drivers are encouraged to apply! 

 

Schedule: Sunday-Thursday 5pm or 6pm if late shift. Rotating Fridays.

 

Pay: $24.01/ hour

Does this look like you?

  • At least 21 years of age

  • Class A CDL License

  • Successfully pass a drug test that will assess drug usage (including marijuana) and a background check

  • Clean driving record; as required by DOT and Gordon Food Service standards

  • Prior experience preferred, but not required.
