Schedule:

  • Evenings
  • M-F
  • 1600-0030

ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Checks equipment for leaks, broken or loose parts, or other defects. Purging waste from equipment and sterilizing all tools according to specific protocols. Organizes inventory and ensures stock for proper tools for all procedures. Performs appropriate decontamination of instruments and equipment. Prepares instrumentation and uses appropriate sterilization methods. Pulls surgery case carts daily and on call. Performs other duties as needed or assigned.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

Required:

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Certified Registered Central Service Technician, OR
  • Minimum three (3) years’ experience as CS Tech and demonstrated knowledge of sterilization technique, infection control and medical/surgery procedure and terminology.

Preferred:

  • Certified Registered Central Service Technician within 1 year of hire
