Position Summary:
The Dietary Aide assists with meal preparation, food service, and maintaining a sanitary dining environment while delivering exceptional customer service to residents, staff, and guests.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the preparation and serving of meals and snacks according to dietary guidelines
  • Set up trays and ensure proper portioning and presentation of food
  • Deliver meals to residents and assist with dining room service as needed
  • Follow all safety, sanitation, and infection control procedures
  • Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, utensils, and dining areas
  • Maintain proper food storage and labeling standards
  • Support cooks and dietary staff as needed

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Previous food service experience in healthcare or hospitality is a plus
  • Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team
  • Strong attention to detail and cleanliness
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs
