Position Overview
The Turret Forklift Operator is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of turret trucks in narrow-aisle warehouse environment. This role performs precision handling of palletized and case-pick inventory, executes put-away and retrieval at elevated heights, supports order fulfillment, and maintains accurate inventory records while adhering to safety, quality, and productivity standards.
Responsibilities:
Specific Responsibilities
- Operate turret forklifts safely in narrow-aisle, high-bay racking environments.
- Store, retrieve, replenish, and relocate inventory using WMS-directed tasks.
- Perform elevated picking and put-away with attention to accuracy and damage prevention.
- Conduct pre-shift equipment inspections and report safety or mechanical issues.
- Use RF scanners to complete real-time inventory transactions.
- Support cycle counts, audits, and inventory verification activities.
- Maintain clean, organized, and hazard-free work areas.
- Follow all safety rules, PPE requirements, and OSHA standards.
General Responsibilities

- Requires regular attendance to perform essential elements as contained herein between the assigned start and end times for work.
- Performs such individual assignments as management may direct.

Qualifications:
The Candidate
Education, Experience, and Licenses:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior turret forklift experience strongly preferred
- Minimum of 4 years relevant experience
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Knowledge of turret forklift operation and racking safety.
- Strong attention to detail and inventory accuracy.
- Ability to work at heights and in confined aisles.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical warehouse work.
- Ability to read, write, and communicate in English
