Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Welder to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in various welding techniques. This role will be responsible for set up, fitting, and welding engineered and custom trailers. You will work individually or as part of a team to complete jobs in a safe and timely manner.
Duties
- Utilize trade tools to fit and weld engineered and custom weldments to drawing specifications or work order.
- Fabricate custom components according to specifications.
- Maintain a high-quality standard
- Communicate effectively with leadership to best serve the needs of customers
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
Requirements
Skills
- Prior experience Mig welding stainless and mild steel.
- Strong knowledge of welding techniques.
- Familiarity with use of press brakes preferred but not required.
- Ability to operate shop equipment (forklifts, overhead cranes, hydraulic band saws) safely.
- Comfortable operating power tools such as grinders, drills, sanders, impacts.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiar with trailers or the trailer industry
