    Position Overview

    We are seeking an exemplary educator to serve as a Master Teacher (Instructional Coach) for our elementary staff.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Instructional Excellence: Model "Gold Standard" teaching practices in a classroom setting, focusing on student engagement, differentiation, and evidence-based literacy/math interventions.
    • Peer Coaching & Mentoring: Provide non-evaluative, side-by-side coaching to colleagues. Conduct classroom observations and provide actionable, growth-oriented feedback.
    • Data Leadership: Lead grade-level teams in analyzing student performance data to shift instructional tactics and close achievement gaps.
    • Curriculum Alignment: Assist in the implementation and refinement of district-wide elementary curricula, ensuring alignment with Iowa Core standards.
    • Professional Development: Design and facilitate building-level PD sessions that are practical, interactive, and grounded in current educational research.

    Qualifications & Requirements

    • Licensure: Valid Iowa Teaching License with an Elementary Education endorsement.
    • Experience: A minimum of 5�7 years of highly successful classroom teaching experience with documented "Exceeds Expectations" evaluations.
    • Education: Master's Degree in Education, Curriculum & Instruction, or Educational Leadership (preferred).
    • Expertise: Deep understanding of the Science of Reading, MTSS (Multi-Tiered System of Supports), and Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS).
    • Soft Skills: Exceptional emotional intelligence, a "servant-leadership" mindset, and the ability to navigate difficult conversations with grace and professionalism.
