What You'll Do

The responsibility of the Social Studies Teacher is to support students by providing instruction in content area subjects.

• Inspire and support students to reach their full potential
• Collaborate with colleagues in a supportive, team-based environment
• Contribute to a culture of high expectations and continuous improvement
• Use innovative strategies and tools to enhance teaching and learning

Qualifications

• Valid Pennsylvania Department of Education Certification - Middle Level Social Studies Grades 6-9, Grades 4-8 (all subjects 4-6, Social Studies 7-8),  or Elementary K-6
• Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
• Experience working with students of diverse backgrounds and abilities.
• Commitment to creating a safe, supportive, and engaging learning environment.
