Job Description

We truly believe that FHU is a good company doing good things for its employees, clients and communities. We are looking for a Mid/Senior Project Manager to join our Sioux Falls, SD office.  

As a Project Manager with FHU you will oversee the planning, execution, and completion of engineering projects. This position requires a dynamic individual with strong technical, organizational, and communication skills to ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the specified quality standards.

  • Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, schedule, cost estimates, resource allocation, and risk management.
  • Define project objectives and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders.
  • Coordinate and lead cross-functional project teams, ensuring alignment and clear communication among all team members.
  • Monitor project progress, identify potential issues, and implement corrective actions as needed.
  • Ensure all project documentation is accurate and up-to-date.
  • Manage project budgets, track expenditures, and ensure financial targets are met.
  • Allocate resources effectively and manage project staffing requirements.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for all project-related communications.
  • Prepare and deliver regular status reports to stakeholders, including senior management.
  • Ensure that all projects adhere to the company's quality standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct project reviews and post-project evaluations to identify areas for improvement.
  • Identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Maintain a risk register and regularly update it throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Motivate and mentor project team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
  • Resolve conflicts and build consensus among team members.
