    Are you looking for a chance to create opportunities for students to remediate their skills and experience success in literacy? Then a reading specialist position may be for you!

    Flossmoor Hills is seeking a reading specialist for the 2026-27 school year. In this position, the candidate will provide direct literacy instruction to students and provide support to classroom teachers on strategies to maximize student progress in reading. Additionally, a successful candidate is able to analyze data and suggest interventions and supports for students in the area of literacy. 

    Qualified candidates should have a valid Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) and Reading Specialist endorsement. 

    Certified staff salary schedule
