Job Description

As a Supervisor, Inbound Business Telesales at Spectrum, you will lead and mentor a dynamic group of professionals, developing strategies that boost sales results and support customer needs in a fast-paced, business-to-business environment. Your leadership will fuel team achievement and help Spectrum deliver exceptional solutions to new small business customers. 

How You Will Make an Impact 

  • Guide and coach a team of Inbound Sales Representatives to meet and exceed established revenue goals and performance metrics
  • Develop new sales strategies within the call center to maximize opportunities and support business objectives 
  • Monitor calls and performance statistics, providing individualized feedback and coaching for continuous improvement
  • Plan and facilitate team meetings to foster collaboration and keep the team aligned with goals 
  • Create, implement and manage Performance Improvement Plans and Corrective Action Plans for team members as needed 
  • Partner with marketing to develop, launch and evaluate marketing campaigns while leading the team to achieve campaign targets
  • Perform staffing activities including recruiting, hiring, onboarding, setting goals and managing performance reviews
  • Oversee administrative responsibilities such as work scheduling, time-off approvals, timesheet review and commission reconciliation 
  • Approve customer credits and maintain positive relationships with other departments to support team success

What You Will Bring to Spectrum

 

Required Qualifications

 

Education

  • High school diploma or equivalent from an accredited organization (GED)

Experience

  • 2+ years inside sales experience, commercial experience preferred
  • 2+ years supervisory experience, preferably in an inside sales capacity

Skills

  • Read, write, speak and understand English
  • Recruit, develop and optimize a team of sales professionals
  • Knowledge of business-to-business sales
  • Familiarity with voice, data and television products and services

Preferred Qualifications

 

Education

  • 2+ years post high school education preferred
