PROGRAM DATES:           Monday, June 1 – Friday, June 26, 2026

 

PROGRAM HOURS:           ECEC 9:00 AM – 12 NOON (District Program)

                                         K-5     8:30 AM – 3:30 PM (Summer Journey)

                                         6-8     7:20 AM – 2:20 PM (Summer Journey)

                                         9-12   7:20 AM – 2:20 PM (District Program)

 

PRIMARY FUNCTION:      Substitute teachers will play a critical role in maintaining classroom continuity in the absence of the regular summer school teacher. This is an as-needed temporary position for the duration of the summer school session (June 1 - 26, 2026).          

                         
QUALIFICATIONS: 

• High School Diploma or equivalent


• Valid Missouri Teaching Certificate or Missouri Substitute Certificate (issued through DESE) required


• Effective oral and written communication skills

 

• All positions will be using the time clock.
