Description -
This role is responsible for leading and executing software business development initiatives as well as collaborating with executive leadership to align partnership opportunities with strategic goals. The role engages in managing leads, implementing strategic plans, and overseeing talent management. The role also represents the organization in industry events, directs vendor partnerships, and contributes to business growth through innovative concepts and performance monitoring.
Responsibilities
Develops and leads the planning, design, implementation, communication, and delivery of services business development initiatives across the organization.
Collaborates with senior leadership to define strategic requirements for partnership opportunities, assessing compatibility with existing strategies and capabilities.
Drives the qualification and management of leads to enhance the overall sales pipeline and achieve revenue targets.
Develops and implements strategic and tactical plans at the organizational level, achieving key milestones and objectives.
Drives talent management responsibilities including recruitment, performance management, coaching and career development.
Serves as a key advisor to executive management in influencing the strategic direction of the business, while also developing organizational policies and authorizing their implementation.
Develops and monitors key performance metrics to track business development progress and inform strategic decision-making.
Represents the organization in industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to establish the brand presence.
Directs the formulation of inventive concepts and principles, offering expertise in business value selling for particular service solutions.
Drives global vendor partnerships, acts as a sponsor for vendors’ budgets, and evaluates vendor performance.
Education & Experience Recommended
Four-year or Graduate Degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or any other related discipline or commensurate work experience or demonstrated competence.
Typically has 15+ years of job-related and/or management experience, preferably in services or solutions business, sales, business development, engagement, or a related field.

The pay range for this role is 250,000 - 300,000 annually with additional opportunities for pay in the form of bonus and/or equity (applies to United States of America candidates only). Pay varies by work location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
