Driving Operational Accuracy: Keeping Inventory on Track!

MEPPI�s Transportation Systems Division (TSD) is seeking a detail-oriented Inventory Worker II to manage inventory control and support logistics operations. This role ensures accurate inventory records, timely shipments, and smooth material flow to meet customer and project needs. You will play a critical role in maintaining efficiency and reliability within our supply chain.

What You�ll Do:

Serve as Point of Contact: Act as the primary contact for incoming shipments, ensuring proper handling and documentation.

Prepare Shipment Details: Compile weight and dimension information for outgoing shipments and enter data into the business system accurately.

Resolve Issues: Investigate and correct incoming shipment errors and deviations in collaboration with the supervisor and Purchasing department.

Maintain Inventory Accuracy: Perform physical inventory counts, location audits, cycle counting, and reconciliation of discrepancies. Adjust inventory records as needed.

Support Inventory Management: Assist the supervisor in maintaining inventory levels, place purchase requisitions, and manage shelf-life inventory.

Generate Reports: Create and distribute inventory reports to support operational decision-making.

Assist Logistics: Support the Logistics department with document and small package shipments.

Transport Materials: Move equipment, parts, and materials between customer and company facilities as required.

What You Bring:

Education: High School diploma or GED.

Experience: Minimum of 3 years of warehouse experience, or equivalent education and experience.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Applicable safety/operations training for machinery and equipment (e.g., fork truck, crane).
• Intermediate knowledge of arithmetic and metric/standard measurements.
• Intermediate computer skills, including MS Office, ERP/MRP systems, and warehouse management systems.
