PLAINVILLE HIGH SCHOOL and Middle School of Plainville
Plainville Community Schools has an opening for a French teacher. This position will be split between the Middle School of Plainville and Plainville High School. This position will begin at the start of the 2026 - 2027 school year. Must have CT French Certification (# 018). Classroom teaching experience (grades 7-12) is preferred. Salary range can be found in the EAP contract located on the Plainville Community Schools website.

Consideration shall be given to those teachers who have expressed a desire to be transferred to a vacant position pursuant to Subsection A (2), above. The administration shall give careful consideration to internal applicants and shall guarantee said applicants an interview. Positions shall be posted for at least seven days internally before advertising externally.
