Position: Summer Substitute Custodian

Description:
The Summer Substitute Custodian performs essential cleaning, maintenance, and groundskeeping duties to support a safe and welcoming school environment. This role follows established procedures and is ideal for individuals who are dependable, hands-on, and take pride in maintaining clean and orderly spaces.

Work is performed under the direction of the Head Custodian. Responsibilities include operating cleaning equipment, using approved materials to maintain assigned areas, and assisting with general building upkeep. Duties also include outdoor work such as grounds maintenance, as well as routine repairs and facility support tasks.

This position offers on-the-job training, making it a great opportunity for individuals looking to gain experience in facilities maintenance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Clean and maintain classrooms, hallways, restrooms, and common areas
• Operate cleaning equipment and use custodial supplies safely
• Perform light maintenance and repair tasks as needed
• Assist with groundskeeping and outdoor upkeep
• Support overall building operations and special projects

Hourly Compensation:
$18.50 per hour
