Description

Gonzales Healthcare Systems has an immediate opening for the position of PRN Respiratory Therapist.   Duties includes providing therapeutic respiratory care services in accordance with the policies of Gonzales Healthcare Systems and the directives of the respiratory medical director, as well as other medical staff members; providing direct patient care in accordance with physician orders; and working closely with Nursing Services assisting in education and in-services as needed for respiratory modalities.

Requirements

• Graduate of approved Respiratory Program
• Registered or Certified as a Respiratory Therapist
• Current Texas licensure
• Knowledge of respiratory equipment
• Current BLS and ACLS certification
• Ability to perform PFT's and EKG's
