Position Overview:

As a Restaurant Server, you will play a key role in providing excellent customer service and ensuring a positive dining experience for our guests. You will be responsible for taking orders, serving food and beverages, and attending to guests' needs in a courteous and efficient manner.

 

Essential Job Functions:

  • Greeting Guests: Welcome guests to the restaurant in a friendly and welcoming manner, and escort them to their tables.
  • Menu Knowledge: Have a thorough understanding of the menu offerings, including food and beverage options, specials, and promotions, and be able to provide recommendations to guests as needed.
  • Order Taking: Take food and beverage orders from guests accurately and efficiently, ensuring special requests or dietary restrictions are noted and communicated to the kitchen staff.
  • Serving: Serve food and beverages to guests in a timely and professional manner, ensuring accuracy and presentation standards are met.
  • Upselling: Utilize suggestive selling techniques to promote additional menu items, specials, or beverages to enhance the guest experience and increase sales.
  • Table Maintenance: Monitor and maintain cleanliness and organization of assigned tables and dining areas throughout the meal service.
  • Guest Interaction: Engage with guests in a courteous and attentive manner, addressing any questions or concerns they may have and ensuring their needs are met throughout their dining experience.
  • Billing and Payment: Present bills to guests, process payments accurately, and handle cash and credit card transactions following established procedures.
  • Teamwork: Collaborate with kitchen staff, bartenders, and other restaurant team members to ensure smooth operations and excellent service.
