Context/Role
As part of Global Technology, Global Support Functions Applications (GSFA) aims to act as the trusted technology partner to the Finance, HR, and legal Departments. Its mission is to support and accelerate the transformation, modernization and standardization of their business processes and systems.
GSFA has a RUN direction, in which there is the Accounting & Operations Run Team who has people located in Bucharest, Paris, Mexico and Sao Paulo. We have the responsibility of Production delivery, support and enhancements for ERP Oracle ebusiness suite (called SAXO), and others applications (Basware, Jenji, GoAnywhere etc.).
ORACLE eBusiness Suite R12.2.5 (upgrade to 12.2.14 ongoing) includes the AP, AR, FA, GL, bank reconciliation (Elsy RB). The application is deployed in 24 countries (Asia, Hispanic Americas and Europe), in more than 110 operational entities and with around 1000 users. The infrastructure of the application is on the Oracle Could Infrastructure (OCI)
SAXO is a business-critical application in charge of the payment operations for Edenred external stakeholders (clients, merchants). In this context, the ERP Run team is seeking a highly skilled Business Analyst on Oracle EBS to work on enhancements.
The Business Analyst (based in Bucharest), with another business analyst) will report to the ERP Enhancement Manager (based in Paris).
Position scope and key responsibilities
You will join the enhancement team and you will perform as an ERP Business Analyst for all geographic zones (EMEA, HANA and APAC), mainly for Oracle EBS modules AR, AP, GL, FA, SLA, etax, RB, RB-AR.
As per the role, you will have to:
Lead the ticket analysis ; do the study of the enhancement:
Confirm the understanding need, the scope, the context, make sure we understand severity/deadline
Think about solution, its impact. Present it to business.
Estimate cost, complexity, risk, planning
When BU agrees on solution and quotation, prepare the building phase and animate it all along
Documentation: Produce or update functional detailed design / test scenarios / business flow / training / internal support process database (Confluence) etc. Ticket for TMA, interaction with dev, business analysts
Follow up, make sure we respect quality, time, cost
Test, TNR, performance test, assist business with UAT
Then, organize prod release, and be in charge of hypercare ; and finally, you’ll have to do a transfer to support team.
Communicating all along with business, dev team and/or CORE guardian
Business meetings - prepared, minutes shared
Set an enhancement governance if needed (steering etc.)
Keep internal customer informed though backlog reviews
Coordination with TMA, dev, CORE, all stakeholders
Training for business, for support
Communication to GSFA team and/or all SAXO users to inform about what’s new
Participate in team meetings and activities – assist colleagues with functional and/or administrative/budget tasks, ensure continuity during absence etc.
Required skills & profile
Experience:
7+ years of experience working in Oracle EBusiness Suite R.12.2.x application, modules: AP, AR, GL are a must. Skills on FA, Elsy RB, RB-AR would be greatly appreciated, in an international context.
University degree in computer science, or accounting
Capable to make the entire enhancement process (all phases from analysis until the prod release)
Capable to manage enhancement as project (all phases of the project until Go Live)
Nice to have: Panaya testing tool will be a ‘plus’
Languages:
- Fluent English, French will be a Nice to Have
Soft Skills:
- Team player, always eager to learn new things and apply best practices
- Problem solving with logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions, or approaches to problems.
- Dynamic and self-motivated, the role requires a high degree of interaction with senior project stakeholders, finance team and IT support team, so a strong team player, good inter-personal and communication skills will be essential.
