Job Title: Mixing Operator

Position Summary: As a Batch Mixing Operator your primary job will be gathering materials according to batch sheets to produce a product.
Essential Functions/ Percentage of Time Spent on Each:
- Gather materials for batches
- Transport raw materials and finished goods to designated area
- Operate equipment to produce material
- Reading instructions and batch sheets
- Cleaning equipment and around work area
- Working with supervisor to keep raw materials at a stock level
- Lending a hand in other working areas
- Helping co-workers’ complete tasks
- Complete special tasks by supervisor
- Minor maintenance on equipment
- Perform cycle counts
- Maintain work area and equipment in a clean orderly condition and follows prescribed safety procedures and wear required PPE.
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Provide leadership to others through example and sharing of knowledge/skill
Minimum Job Requirements:
- Education:
- Experience is helpful
- Necessary Skills: Heavy lifting, reading and writing, speaking or able to understand English
Other Recommended Skills:
- Forklift experience
- Experience with chemicals

- Stand and use hands to finger, handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear.
- The employee is occasionally required to walk and sit. The employee must frequently push pull and lift and/or move up to 80 pounds.
- Must be able to drive several different Forklifts (Drexel or Bendi)
- Able to stand for an 8-hour (at times more) shift
- Able to handle frequent twisting and bending
- Good hand dexterity
- Perform heavy lifting
- Climbing up and down ladders, trucks, and presses throughout the shift
- Able to handle frequent twisting and bending
Work Environment:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts. The employee is frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles and vibration. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
