Job Description

PRH is looking for a team member to join our Respiratory Therapy Department in the role of Registered Respiratory Therapist. This position is PRN and will be responsible for performing assessments designed to gather data relevant to the patients individual respiratory care needs, developing a plan of care, implementing the plan, providing treatment and diagnostic services, organizing care, and evaluation of the effectiveness of the treatment/care provided......                  

Position Summary

The Respiratory Therapist is responsible for performing assessments designed to gather data relevant to the patients individual respiratory care needs, developing a plan of care, implementing the plan, providing treatment and diagnostic services, organizing care, and evaluation of the effectiveness of the treatment/care provided. The Respiratory Therapist performs pulmonary function testing, sleep oximetry testing, EKG services and a variety of other services. The Respiratory Therapist is also responsible for patient, family, and staff education as it relates to patient’s pulmonary condition.

Education Requirements/Licensure/Certification/Registration

  • Associate degree from an accredited Respiratory Therapy program
  • Registered as a Respiratory Therapist
  • Valid license in these state of Wisconsin
  • CPR Certification
  • ACLS Certification preferred
  • Neonatal Resuscitation Certification (NRP) or obtained within one year of hire


FTE: PRN (as needed)
Shift: As needed days, Monday - Friday.
On call -1 day shift per month, 1 weekend day/month or 1 full weekend every other month. 1 holiday/year.
