To participate in the Talkspace network, all associate therapists are required to possess the following:
An active, associate clinical license (e.g., LMFTA, LAC, LCSWA, etc.)
Master’s Degree in social work, counseling, or other behavioral science
A supervising clinician and/or organization
Individual professional malpractice liability insurance policy
Reliable internet connection
Background check (conducted by a third party during onboarding)
Current residence in the USA
Talkspace does not provide clinical supervision—you must obtain an external clinical supervisor.

After you complete the form below, you will receive an email with a link to continue the application process. During the application process, you’ll need to provide
- proof of associate/provisional licensure
- proof of an eligible malpractice insurance policy
- your supervisory agreement
- a resume.
