As a Planner, you will be responsible in ensuring smooth materials flow to operations, manage documentation and shipments, and maintain accurate reporting and system updates.
- Coordinating materials flow: Ensure materials are available in the right quantities and locations, supporting production operations.
- Documentation and shipment support: Prepare shipping documents, track inventory, and coordinate with suppliers or logistics partners.
- Timely reporting and system updating: Provide regular reports on materials availability and update company systems to reflect accurate information.
Responsibilities
- Plan, schedule, coordinate and monitor the final approval of machine builds through the complete production cycle.
- Coordinate activities with cross-functional teams to ensure business needs and customer requirements are met.
- Monitor weekly (or daily in demand) Shipment/MFG schedules and coordinate activities with Production, Engineering, Purchasing, Logistics, Customer Ops and Marketing as required.
- Ensure orders are released timely for machines build & customization for shipments.
- Manage shipment grids to build plan, change models, conversion, demo, and rotation.
- Follow-up shortages with buyers on ETA & escalate issue affecting build or ship.
- Present in weekly MPS meeting, production material shortage meeting and quarterly business review meeting.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Diploma or higher in Engineering or Supply Chain Management.
- At least 1 year of working experience in Materials and Production planning in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience with ERP software, Microsoft Office, Excel Macro and/or Oracle report writing a plus
- Strong communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong quantitative and analytical skills
- Good organization skills, decision making capabilities, and detail-oriented.
- Independent, self-motivated, responsible.
- Able to multi-task and a good team player.
