Job Description

The Quality Assurance Engineer is responsible for planning, implementing, and managing quality control systems for manufacturing processes and change management processes. This role ensures that product and process requirements are effectively translated into manufacturing operations while maintaining compliance with quality, safety, and environmental standards.

  • Plan, develop, and implement control plans for raw materials, sub-assemblies, and finished products.
  • Plan, develop, and implement control plans for change management systems, including New Product Introduction (NPI), collateral changes, and engineering changes.
  • Ensure that product specifications are correctly implemented and maintained within manufacturing processes.
  • Participate in the validation of manufacturing processes to ensure compliance with quality standards.
  • Support and coordinate the introduction of new products and changes to existing products and/or processes.
  • Lead, monitor, supervise, and coordinate assigned corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
  • Ensure compliance with all Quality Management System (QMS) procedures and requirements.
  • Act in accordance with the company’s Quality Policy and applicable regulatory standards.
  • Be familiar with quality objectives relevant to the role and actively contribute to their achievement.
  • Support and report on training and awareness initiatives related to quality objectives, environmental aspects, impacts, improvements, and operational controls to promote environmental responsibility.
  • Actively participate in the 5S+1 Program, a critical business objective, ensuring compliance with program standards and performing assigned roles such as Auditor, Coordinator, Leader, or Committee Member.
  • Actively participate in Safety and Environmental Management Systems, ensuring compliance with system requirements and supporting related initiatives and activities.
  • Perform work in a safe, efficient, and ethical manner at all times.
  • Carry out additional tasks assigned by management to support company operations.

 

MUST HAVE:

  • 2-5 years of Experience in Quality Assurance within a manufacturing environment.
  • Knowledge of quality tools and methodologies (e.g., Control Plans, CAPA, process validation).
  • Familiarity with change management processes such as NPI and Engineering Changes.
  • Understanding of Quality Management Systems and applicable standards (e.g., ISO 9001 or similar).
  • Ability to lead and coordinate cross-functional activities related to quality improvement.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Advanced English Communications skills
