Job Description

We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Haas CNC Mill Operator to join our 1st shift team. In this role, you will be responsible for programing, operating, & maintaining our Haas CNC mills and manual machining equipment.  The ideal candidate has hands-on machining experience, strong blueprint reading skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced production environment. As a Haas CNC Operator, you will play a key role in ensuring product quality, maintaining equipment performance, and supporting overall production goals. Candidates should be comfortable programing, operating, making basic CNC offset adjustments, performing inspections using precision measuring tools, and troubleshooting machining issues while maintaining strict attention to detail and safety standards.

Education & Experience Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Minium of 1 year experience programing & operating a Haas Cnc manual mill
  • Basic understanding of machining principles and tooling
  • Ability to read blueprints and use measuring instruments
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently on 3rd shift & ability to work overtime
  • Ability to stand for long periods and lift materials as required
  • Must have experience with manual machining in a production environment
  • Must have basic CNC offset adjustment knowledge

Key Responsibilities

  • Set up and operate manual and CNC machines (mills, lathes, or related equipment)
  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work instructions
  • Measure and inspect finished parts using precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges)
  • Make minor machine adjustments to maintain part quality and tolerances
  • Perform routine machine maintenance and keep work area clean
  • Identify and report machine issues or defective parts
  • Follow all safety procedures and company policies
  • Meet production goals while maintaining quality standards
  • Familiarity with ISO or quality control standards
