Job Description

Oxford Health & Rehabilitation Center in Oxford, NC is seeking a qualified candidate to join our team as the Assistant Director of Nursing (RN). 

 

As the Assistant Director of Nursing, you’ll play a vital role in our ability to continuously provide Care Beyond Compare through your exceptional leadership, guidance, and supervision of the nursing team. You'll be instrumental in fostering a culture of excellence, ensuring adherence to protocols and best practices, and empowering our nursing team to deliver compassionate, high-quality care to every patient. Your guidance and support will be pivotal in maintaining our standards of excellence and enhancing the overall patient experience.

What You'll Do

  • Support the Director of Nursing in providing leadership and oversight to the nursing team.

  • Assist in developing and executing plans to meet departmental goals and objectives.

  • Monitor patient care delivery and clinical outcomes, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions as needed.

  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and accreditation standards, including state and federal regulations.

  • Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork, professional growth, and employee engagement. 

  • Partner with Human Resources to recruit, onboard, and retain top nursing talent.

  • Conduct regular audits and assessments to identify opportunities for improvement and implement strategies to enhance patient care and safety.

  • Perform other duties as required to provide exceptional care to each resident. 

 

What You Need

  • Active unencumbered licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in North Carolina.

  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred. 

  • Strong clinical knowledge and expertise in nursing practice and patient care.

  • Demonstrated ability to effectively manage and lead a diverse team of healthcare professionals.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Highly organized and detail oriented.

  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team.

  • This is a salaried/exempt position.
