Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
The Operations Communications & Engagement Coordinator is an entry‑level role for a highly organized, people‑focused professional who brings energy, clarity, and follow‑through to a fast‑paced operational environment. The role supports team alignment through internal communications, event and engagement coordination, rewards and recognition programs, and accountability to project timelines.
The ideal candidate is a positive, professional encourager who enjoys helping others succeed and consistently follows up driving tasks to completion. This role partners closely with cross‑functional teams including operations, supply chain, quality, and continuous improvement.
Job Responsibilities
- Support internal communications to ensure messaging is clear, timely, and consistent.
- Assist with the preparation and distribution of presentations, updates, newsletters, and visual communications.
- Facilitate effective information flow between teams to support alignment and accuracy.
- Coordinate internal meetings, training, recognition events, and employee engagement activities.
- Manage event logistics, including scheduling, materials, setup, communications, and follow‑up.
- Support employee engagement initiatives that promote a positive and inclusive work environment.
- Administer employee recognition programs, including tracking awards, milestones, and participation.
- Partner with leadership to support consistent recognition aligned with organizational priorities.
- Maintain accurate records related to engagement and recognition activities.
- Track project action items, timelines, and deliverables to support on time completion.
- Provide routine follow‑up to support completion of assigned tasks and commitments.
- Prepare status updates, summaries, and basic reports for leadership review.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives through meeting coordination, documentation, and follow‑up.
- Maintain organized documentation, trackers, and shared resources.
- Provide administrative and coordination support for cross‑functional initiatives as assigned.
- Perform responsibilities in a professional, service‑oriented manner.
Climate:
Must work effectively in a fast-paced team environment with constant interruptions. Must clearly communicate business goals so associates understand how they contribute to the organization's success. Extensive short-term planning based on established and changing priorities. Involves ongoing problem solving. Some irregular hours are required.
Qualifications
- Required
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to interact professionally and positively with employees at all levels.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Preferred
- Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in business, Communications, Human Resources, Supply Chain, or a related field.
- Exposure to manufacturing, operations, supply chain, quality, or continuous improvement environments.
- Familiarity with Lean, continuous improvement, or basic project coordination concepts.
