Position Summary:

We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Staff Education RN to join our team. This critical role is responsible for developing, coordinating, and implementing education and training programs for nursing and clinical staff to ensure compliance with facility policies, state and federal regulations, and best practices in healthcare.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and conduct orientation programs for all new nursing staff.

  • Plan and deliver ongoing in-service education and training sessions.

  • Maintain documentation of staff training and competencies.

  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements related to staff education.

  • Identify training needs through audits, performance evaluations, and incident reviews.

  • Serve as a resource and mentor for clinical staff.

  • Assist with infection control education and implementation as needed.

  • Collaborate with leadership to support quality improvement initiatives.


Qualifications:

  • Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Connecticut.

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in long-term care or a similar healthcare setting.

  • Previous experience in staff education, training, or leadership strongly preferred.

  • Excellent communication, presentation, and organizational skills.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements and best practices in healthcare.
