Ignite is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Contracts Manager to lead and build our corporate contracts organization. As our Contracts Manager you will provide a strategic business mindset, build lasting relationships, and deliver balanced and equitable business deals ensuring the long-term, mutual success of Ignite and its Clients. 

Your Role:

  • Provide government contractual expertise and leadership.
  • Lead the preparation, negotiation, and administration of all contracts and ensure they meet legal, regulatory, and corporate requirements.
  • Build and maintain relationships with the Government Contracting Officer or Prime Contractor.
  • Negotiate NDA's and TA's; and conduct OCI screenings.
  • Participate in the development and review of proposals.
  • Perform risk assessments and recommend mitigation approaches.
  • Interpret contract terms and communicate and/or mitigate subsequent issues.
  • Monitor contract performance and compliance to ensure deliverables and milestones are met in accordance with contract terms.
  • Work independently on larger, moderately complex projects/assignments to include proposals and contract risk reviews.
  • Lead contract negotiations with government agencies, subcontractors, and vendors.
  • Ensure compliance with Contracts policies and guidelines as well as with US Government laws and regulations.
  • Interpret and enforce contract terms and conditions, resolving any issues related to scope, schedule, or cost in coordination with project
  • Identify potential risks associated with contractual rights, obligations, and agreements and work with management to develop strategies to mitigate risks.
  • ·Oversee the close-out process for completed contracts, ensuring all final deliverables, payments, and documentation are completed and filed in accordance with company and contractual requirements.
  • Prepare and maintain contract-related documentation and reports, including performance tracking, change orders, and contract modifications.
  • Assist in audits and internal/external reviews as required by government or regulatory bodies.
