Job Description

Position Summary



The Operational Excellence Manager leads continuous improvement efforts across the organization to improve safety, quality, delivery, and cost. This role partners with cross-functional teams to optimize processes, eliminate waste, and drive sustainable performance improvements using Lean and Six Sigma methodologies.



Key Responsibilities:




  • Lead and drive continuous improvement initiatives across manufacturing and business processes

  • Develop and execute an Operational Excellence roadmap aligned with business goals

  • Facilitate Kaizen events, value stream mapping, and structured problem-solving activities

  • Coach and train employees in Lean, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement tools

  • Identify performance gaps and partner with teams to implement sustainable solutions

  • Establish and track improvement metrics, KPIs, and documented results

  • Support new product introductions, process changes, and capital projects

  • Oversee ISO Certifications, training, audits, and team members associated with our certification

  • Promote a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement

  • Collaborate with Operations, Quality, Engineering, Supply Chain, and Leadership teams



Qualifications:




  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations, Business, or related field preferred

  • Lean / Six Sigma experience required (Green Belt minimum; Black Belt preferred)

  • Proven & Progressive experience leading cross-functional improvement initiatives

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and facilitation skills

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

  • Proficiency in ERP systems and Power BI

  • Manufacturing or industrial environment experience preferred
